Because apparently I haven't got enough projects on the go already... I had another random idea and thought I'd just quickly test something. Next thing I know, I've built a 3D arm with Astra High. 😂 This was ONE shot. I'm actually pretty impressed with it. Someone needs to stop me from having ideas.

Thank you for this, @_NathanCalvin. I appreciate and am a fan of the investigative work you’ve done on behalf of AI safety and believe your comments are coming from a constructive, honest place, and that it benefits the public to have people whose job is to scrutinize the actions of frontier AI companies. I think something would be wrong if companies of the size of Anthropic didn’t get harshly criticized basically every day; strong antibodies against corporate power are a healthy feature of a free society, and especially so when issues of the gravity of the one we’re facing are at play. I also do agree that some of the examples you cite were mistakes by Anthropic. That said, I disagree with the thrust of your post. At the core, a good fraction of the things you criticize are consequences of Anthropic’s basic theory of change that we have held for many years. Our strategy has always been what I’ve called the “race to the top” — by showing how it’s possible to build the technology resp…
We use Grok Bot to spot incidents in our support queue and quickly respond to every associated ticket. In one incident, it cleared 204 tickets in about 10 minutes, with one engineer approving the batch.

there's something really cool about asking your agent to draw a statechart (hypothetical example in this image), then using the /create-formal-verification-skill you made with pstack to find bugs through something like TLA+. you can both understand your code better and how the user flow should work, and fix issues users would otherwise see

That PHP vulnerability that’s gonna cause havoc this week was found with… GPT‑5.6 Sol.
Just watched the @netflix Instadocs about the @OpenAI cyberattack on @huggingface. Super disappointing, as they went for maximum anthropomorphism of the technology and full doomer mode. I spent more than two hours with them trying to correct all their mistakes and ground this in reality, explaining that agents are technological systems, not aliens. But it looks like the drive to scare people for maximum views was too strong. Also, they didn’t mention the lack of containment and monitoring of the agents, how closed-model safeguards blocked our defensive work, or how we defended ourselves with AI using an open model. And that we still lack a lot of information and transparency, including full agent traces and that companies need to remain accountable for what their agents do. It ends up being a fun sci-fi movie though!

I am very grateful Aleksander accepted our request to come take this on; the safety and security challenges in front of us as we confront superintelligence are immense, and he has an excellent set of skills to work on this.
“We found DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 beats GPT 6 Sol on our multi-step offensive cybersecurity task.” READ THAT AGAIN. the same cyber capabilities that OpenAI kept behind a gate got beaten by a Chinese open model you can run locally. buckle up guys.
Day 16/ You can now cache for 12h in the API and for logged in users across Codex & Work we keep cache forever and you don’t have any penalty for coming back to an old conversation or resuming after a few hours and are now guaranteed to hit the cache.
Had one of those nights where all the vibe coded pieces collapse in front of you and you realize engineers are still very, very much necessary
In 1994, software was dead. People told me programming was for nerds and that I should become a doctor or a lawyer instead. In 2004, software was dead. People told me that someone from India would take my job for $5/hour. In 2014, software was dead. People told me that no-code was going to kill every job and doom my career. In 2024, software was dead with Devin, Windsurf, Copilot, and OpenAI o1. We kill software every 10 years, and yet the demand for good Software Engineers has never been higher.
DeepSeek might as well open source the whole company at this point. “We’re sharing our production stack to help the community lower compute costs, reduce energy use, and make AI more affordable.”
Putting an "I bought this before she went crazy" sticker on my Theranos device
Supabase is now fully available and open source thanks to Claude
There were reports of usage draining faster than anticipated for some users over the weekend. We've identified approximately 40,000 accounts that had an inconsistency on which usage limits where the actual usage that was applied did not correspond to their actual selected plan. We are reaching out individually to all these users and have corrected the issue. If this affected you, we'll add credits to your account. Sorry we got this wrong.
🚀 Introducing DeepInfer, our in-house inference framework, now fully open source! Powering DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash at scale with high throughput and low latency.
